The ceramic coating is the reason. Bare steel picks up a faint metallic note that's more noticeable in whisked matcha than coffee. The coating removes that, and the wide-mouth lid gives room to whisk without splashing.
We recommend hand wash only. It's on the base of every unit. The dishwasher's heat and detergent will wear down the ceramic coating over time.
Double-wall vacuum insulation on all five colorways. Hot drinks stay hot for up to 12 hours, cold drinks stay cold for up to 24 hours, and the outside stays comfortable to hold either way.
